Physicians dictate utilizing a Personalized Digital Recorder, or our toll free 800 service. The file is automatically encrypted and transferred to a personalized transcriptionist. How would the physicians work flow process change?
We understand doctors are extremely busy, busier than ever with the increasing focus on the number of patients per day. Physicians don't have time to learn new software every year, even if the new one is more efficient. At GMT, we refer to our software as Fischer-Price simple-easy enough for a preschooler to use. What is the initial cost of set-up?
At GMT- nothing. Some companies charge for set-up, physician and office personnel training, and digital records.
What length of commitment does GMT require?

What does it mean that "GMT Software provides a seamless workflow?"
Software systems communicate through interfaces or integration. An interface is a method of connecting two independent systems. For instance, GMT's software application communicates directly through one common interface standard for communication to the EMR in an HL7 format. We call this EMR-ready or HL7 compatible.
Integration, by contrast, is a means of the EMR taking one of our files and linking it directly to their EMR. Many EMR companies can take a MS Word file and bring it right in to a patient chart.
GMT offers both solutions enabling clients to utilize their exact current workflow.

A medical transcriptionist is a specialist who interprets and transcribes dictation by medical professionals. This dictation covers patient history and physical reports, clinic notes, office notes, operative reports, discharge notes, consult letters, laboratory reports, x-ray reports and pathology reports.
The information received by the Medical Transcriptionists is usually recorded onto tape or into digital voice processing systems. The process of medical transcription is transferring this information using word processing. It requires good listening and language skills, good typing skills and good knowledge of medical terms.
